This strange material is not as easy to work with as earthly metals, but those of esoteric skill have devised a way to smelt star metal ore, with a technique that employs brimstone and black ice, to create ingots. Per page: 15 30 This fallen metal from the sky, be it a gift from the gods or a curse from the wells of night, has mysterious properties that sages and sorcerers are only beginning to understand. You have to use the strong throw attacknot the normal one, or the orbs will bounce off! Last edited by Kathom67 19 Jan, am. As Namhaid wrote, 4 to 6 greae orbs ignited by one demofire orb do the job to crack a meteorite. Either north of Eyelet lake in the northwestern part a lot of mobs out there or on the long mountain ridge which borders the northwestern valley less meteorites, but no mobs. They look like small rounded rocks, but you can easily recognise them because there is a light smoke coming out of them. They are all over the west valley of the frozen area in the north, the one where the Frost Temple sits. You must use explosives on the ore to be able to mine it.
I heard that some times they fall from the sky but have never witnessed this myself so if anyone can tell me where that might occur or if there are nodes naturally or perhaps fragments able to be found in a dungeon would be nice to know. I know it is rare but there has to be a few decent area's to go and possible farm a few pieces from time to time.
